A heat pump pool heater is a special device that moves heat from one location to another with a small amount of energy. Pool heat pumps use less electricity because they use already available air heat. The above ground pool heaters are used to transfer heat from the air into the water.
Heat pump pool heater is the best device
In the pool water circulates system, pool water passes through a pool heater, filter, and to the swimming pool. The heat pump pool heater draws in the outside air with fans and directs it over the evaporator coil.
When the INVERBOOST heat pump pool heater is in hot operation, the low-pressure and low-temperature gaseous refrigerant at the suction port of the compressor becomes high-pressure and high-temperature gaseous refrigerant after being compressed and pressurized by the compressor; the high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerant is cooled by the titanium exchanger to be high-pressure and high-temperature liquid.
Refrigerant and the water in the titanium exchanger are heated; the high-pressure, high-temperature liquid refrigerant is throttled and reduced by the throttling mechanism (capillary thermal expansion valve, electronic expansion valve), and becomes a low-pressure and low-temperature liquid refrigerant, which is absorbed in the copper tube of the evaporator.
The heat in the air flowing through the copper tube of the evaporator vaporizes into a low-pressure and low-temperature gaseous refrigerant, and the air driven by a fan outside the copper tube is cooled; the low-pressure and low-temperature gaseous refrigerant is sent to the suction port of the compressor. At this point, a heating cycle is completed. In this way, the refrigerant circulates back and forth, continuously transferring the heat in the ambient air and the electric energy consumed by the compressor to the swimming pool water.
INVERBOOST pool heaters usually use scroll compressors instead of the standard reciprocal compressors to achieve higher efficiency. The heat pump pool heater works efficiently on the outside temperature range -7℃~43℃. The cooler the outside, the less efficient they are and the higher energy bills they result in. However, most people use them for outdoor pools during mild weather, this usually isn’t an issue.
Selecting a Heat Pump Pool Heater
Usually, the price of an above ground pool heater is more expensive than a gas pool heater. But the annual operating costs of a heat pump pool heater are typically lower than a gas pool heat because a pool heat pumps have higher efficiencies. Pool heat pump lasts longer than gas pool heaters with proper maintenance. As a result, you’ll save more money in the long run.

There are many factors involving the size of the heat pump pool heater we chose. Basically, we choose a heater according to the surface area of the pool and the difference between the pool and the average air temperatures. Other factors also affect the heating load for outdoor pools, such as humidity levels, wind exposure, and cool night temperatures. Therefore, we recommend a larger heater.
The energy efficiency of a heat pump pool heater is measured by the coefficient of performance (COP). The higher the COP number, the more efficient.
The swimming pool heat pump is intelligently designed and remarkably compact for ease of installation. For example, the integrated pressure switch will sense the water pressure that is generated when the pool solarheizung has started and it automatically starts the heat pump when heating/cooling is required. It will also stop the heat pump when the pool pump shuts off.
